The time is NOW for us to reclaim control of our community. The time is NOW for us to
make an IMPACT on our futures, to map and create our own destinies. Join Project Impact South Bend, Inc. as we
implement ProjectNOW. Our
message is simple. If we are to transform our communities it is up to us. Through the Grace of God,
we must work together to transform our lives, our families, our communities both spiritually and economically. We
must do this. This
is how Project Impact South Bend, Inc. is doing this NOW.
1. Recognizing that change must come from within. If we want to have jobs in
our community, we must first create them. If we want businesses in our community we must develop them. If
we want those businesses to thrive and grow we must be the best business owners, employees, and customers. If
we want a safe community in which we have all we need to live, love and prosper… We must work together to make it so.

2. Job Readiness Training. Project Impact South Bend provides Job Readiness training
designed to produce the Best Employees Ever Trained (BEET). We have created partnerships with WorkOne,
the Apprentice Academy, Vincennes University, Ivy Tech and others to provide training and skills development necessary to
prepare the people of our community to succeed. For more information on our JRT program go to Programs.
3. On Going Support. One of the key things that distinguish Project Impact South Bend, Inc.
programs from others is the ongoing support. We invite you to become a member of the PISB Family. Those who go through the PISB JRT receive ongoing support. We do not promise to find
a job for you. We expect that individuals who complete our training know that they are
responsible for their own lives. But we do work with those who are willing to help themselves. PISB reaches out to local businesses to make them aware of the highly motivated, pre-screened and prepared individuals
in our programs. We provide recommendations for those who are sincerely working to improve
their lives and those of their families and the community. We provide recommendations for those
who earn our trust by proving themselves. We also connect our members to community services that help them continue
to improve their lives and move them forward in their spiritual and economic transformation. For more information on our On Going support, go to Programs.
4. Job Creation. Project Impact South Bend, Inc. is focused on creating
job opportunities for the people of our community. We are partnering with small businesses in the
community to help them build capacity. As they grow, they are more inclined to hire people from their
own communities. Therefore, PISB is focusing on helping in every way we can to direct business to
those community based businesses that partner with us. We use our resources to help them grow, they
in turn agree to make every effort to hire the people we recommend from our program. This helps build
economic wealth from within. These businesses include a computer recycling, refurbishing and sales
company and an architectural design and construction business.
5. Family Programs. Spiritual and Economic Transformation cannot happen without
focus, energy and effort to continuously strengthen the family. Therefore, Project Impact South Bend,
Inc. has programs that support the entire family. They range from our highly acclaimed Daughters of
Destiny program, our Sons of Destiny, Parenting for Success, Mothers against Poverty and more. To
