Are you a food service entrepreneur in search of an affordable commercial kitchen? At the CUC Business Development Center, we work with dozens of food preparation entrepreneurs at various stages of business growth. The needs of these businesses vary so we are testing the introduction of a shared commercial kitchen offering a variety of solutions designed to identify a business model that effectively enables food service small businesses gain access to the professional quality appliances, meet all health code requirements, and get support developing plans that establish profitable, sustainable strategies.
This test will show how the space can be best used for retail sales, wholesale production, cooking classes, workshops and more
The space provider will be fairly compensated. Users of the kitchen make a profit. The model we develop is planned to be cloned in other areas of the community and region resulting in a network of shared commercial kitchens.
